The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove by Lauren Kate
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This should really be more like 2 3/4 stars.  While I liked it, I didn't particularly care for any of the characters.  They were all pretty shallow and seemed to only care about climbing their way up the social ladder(mostly with the help of sex, drugs and booze).  I just kept waiting for something more to happen and even when it did, it wasn't enough.  I was really looking forward to reading this and have to admit, I'm kind of let down.  I do love the cover though!

I could not put this book down.  I'm just not sure how I feel about the ending.  I think I just wasn't ready for it to end when it did.

On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta

I absolutely loved this book!  Even though for the first 100 pages or so, I had no idea what it was about or what was going on, I just couldn't stop reading it.  Then once everything started falling into place and making sense, it was all over for me.  I was hooked.  I think I fell a little in love with every single character. whether they were male or female, young or old, part of the past or part of the present.  Jonah Griggs has earned his spot on my swoon worthy book boy list (and in my heart).  This is one that will stick with me.  I can't say enough good things about it!

Ten Things We Did by Sarah Mlynowski

I bought the ebook for 99 cents and am surprised at how much I enjoyed it!  I was sad to see it end!  I wanted to read more about April and her friends!  And the new book boys we are introduced to in it?!  They are all so swoon-worthy!  I think Hudson and his brother Dean are my favorites though.

Love? Maybe by Heather Hepler

While this was an easy read and a cute and sweet story, like the candy hearts on the cover, for me it lacked substance.  It did make me smile while reading it but I pretty much knew how it was going to end the moment I started reading it.  Yet, I still don't understand why a girl like Piper wouldn't date a guy like Ben Donovan.  I also thought that there was going to be more going on with Charlie's dad.  It was like I kept waiting for something to happen but it never did.  I'm not really sure how many stars to give this one.  2 seems like too little and 3 seems like too many.

WOW!  I don't even know where to begin.  This books is so beautifully written and such a wonderful story about love and hope. I absolutely loved it!  So much that I already want to read it again!  I can't wait to see what the future holds for Karou and Akiva!
