I honestly didn't think I would get past the first few chapters of this book when it showed up on my doorstep. Turns out is was better than I expected it to be.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I really didn't know what to expect from this book. I didn't have much interest in a book about kids with cancer. I figured it would just make me cry. Boy, was I wrong (not about the crying part, I did do that). I didn't really have any desire to read it until a friend started posting quotes from it on facebook. Just from that little bit, I was pretty much hooked before I even opened the cover. This book is beautifully written and heartbreakingly sweet. It's one of those that stays with you even after you finish it.

27. Daniel's Journal by Lauren Kate

I was really hoping for more from this one. I wish it was longer. I do like how he compared his love for Luce to an addiction and was going to try to 12 Step it. LOL!

Interesting to see what Daniel was up to and how he tried to avoid Luce this time around.  Also to see how Shelby ended up at Sword & Cross.

The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Loved this book.  Loved Beau Vincent.  I always love the bad boy.  And this bad boy has the best heart and is just misunderstood.  This is one love triangle that surprisingly didn't aggravate me.  I can't wait to see what the next book holds for them!

Forgiving Trinity by Liz Reinhardt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Trinity is such a strong, brave character it's hard not smile while reading this book.  Even when things are rough and it has you tearing up.  Aiden has to be one of the sweetest book boys out there and her brother Christian is no slouch either.  I just would have liked a little more detail on what lead her down the path of drugs and alcohol especially when she seemed to "have it all".

Black Heart by Holly Black

I absolutely love this book!  This is one of my favorite series.  While I'm sad to see it end, the ending could not have made me happier!  I love this world that Holly Black has created.  I will miss it and all the wonderful characters in it.

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I absolutely LOVE this series!  OMG!! Hot Book Boy Alert!!  I don't know how I'm going to last until the next the book comes out in August.  I did miss having the boy's POV like we did in Shadows though.  I can't say enough good things about this book.  If you haven't read it yet, run, don't walk and get it!!

I loved this book. I loved all of the characters in this book. I'm so happy Angela told me to read it! I'm hooked! I can't wait to see what the rest of the series holds! I never thought I'd be into books about aliens, but I'm slowly realizing that I like them. Daemon and Dawson are the newest members to my "Swoonworthy Book Boy List". And the make out scenes?!? Wow!
