Book #81
Sean Griswold's Head by Lindsey Leavitt
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
(3.5 Stars) This book was really cute! At first I was afraid that the characters were going to be to young for me, but I really enjoyed it. I couldn't stand Jac though. I don't get why so many of the girls in these books have such bad best friends. It annoys the hell out of me. I loved seeing how Payton dealt with and came to turns with her father's illness. And of course, I loved Sean Griswold's head!!

Book #80
Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this series and hope that maybe we will see more of Cas, Thomas and Carmel. With all the different scenarios I had running around in my head, I'm glad that everything turned out the way they did. I think the ending was absolutely PERFECT!!

Book #79
Something Like Normal by Trish Doller
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I will admit, I was a leery about reading this book at first. I just didn't think a book about a kid who comes back from Afghanistan was my cup of tea. Then a friend of mine told me how much she loved it (and I swear she is my book soul mate) so I figured I'd give it a shot. I am so happy that I did! This is such a wonderfully written story I can't even begin to put it into words. I hated Travis's dad, brother and ex-girlfriend and at times his mother annoyed me too. I have to say, there were times when I didn't like Travis all that much either. But I loved his story and watching his relationship with Harper develop.

Book #78
Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book should come with some kind of warning label!! This book ripped my heart apart, put it back together only to rip it apart again. My heart broke for Ember, to not be able to touch anyone, to not even be able to comfort her baby sister. And then all the angst in the Ember/Hayden relationship!! GAH!!! I think Hayden is my new book boyfriend, though. Jennifer L. Armentrout, you have done it again!! I love your worlds, your characters, your whole style of writing. I just really hope we get to see more of Ember and Hayden!!

Book #77
Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book was creepy, full of suspense and may or may not have been the cause of my nightmare last night. I love Cas and his Mom and all the other characters. (view spoiler)[I just had a hard time with the whole Anna/Cas relationship. I didn't really feel the love between them and when I finally started to, it was done. (hide spoiler)] I can't wait to see what Girl of Nightmares holds for Cas and his new friends!

Book #76
Dangerous Boy by Mandy Hubbard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A retelling/modernization of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, this book was creepy and suspenseful with just the right amount of romance thrown in. Ever time I thought I had it all figured out, it would throw a curve and have me wondering again. It did leave my a little sad for Logan though. And I don't think I was supposed to be.

Book #75
Touch by Jus Accardo
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book had just the right mix of action and romance. I love Dez and her snarky, tough girl attitude. I love Kale (of course, you KNEW that was coming) and his innocence. I can't wait to read more!

Book #74
Wishing For Someday Soon by Tiffany King
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I think I would have liked this book better if it was a little longer and had a little more detail or depth. I can't put my finger on it, but something was missing for me. I don't know what it is. It may have been that I had really high expectations for the book and it just didn't take me there. I loved the end of the book though. That's when I finally got really sucked into the story. I just wished it had sucked me in sooner.

Book #72
I'm Not Her by Janet Gurtler
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Yet another YA book where the parents infuriate me. I don't understand how when dealing with such a serious and heartbreaking subject, the parents can be so unattached, self absorbed and selfish. And that little twist towards the end. Wow.

Book #71
Choke by Diana Lopez
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This is another book I'm not sure how to rate. While this book has a very important message, the characters were just too young for me to relate to. I could relate to the situations because who doesn't remember those years in school of trying to fit in and be cool and do the right thing. But the conversations were too immature and juvenile for me to feel any sort of connection or compassion for them. I felt more for the letter from the author at the end of the book. That's kind of what made me give it 3 stars. Otherwise would have been 2 or 2.5 stars.
Book #70
Spark by Brigid Kemmerer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
GAH!!! I absolutely LOVE this book and this series. Seriously, if you aren't reading it yet, you need to start it NOW!! With so many hot book boys to choose from, you can't go wrong! Gabriel is by far my favorite of the Merrick boys so I loved that it focused on him and his element, Fire. It didn't occur to me in Storm, just how dangerous his affinity to fire could be. No wonder he's so angry! I still don't trust Hunter though. Now, what do I do while I wait for the next book to come out?

Book #69
Fearless by Brigid Kemmerer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Even after having more of Hunter's background revealed, I still don't trust him. But I am loving this series! I highly recommend it!
Book #68
Storm by Brigid Kemmerer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I got this book either as a Friday Freebie or a Daily Find from Barnes and Noble and am so glad I took the chance on it! I loved the story and the characters. Especially those Merrick brothers! So many swoon worthy boys in one book, let alone one family makes for good reading! :D I loved Becca's tenacity and that fact that not only did she stick up for herself (for the most part) but for the Merrick's too. This book was action packed from the get go and didn't stop until you reached the end. It had just the right amount of romance thrown in there too. I can't wait to read the next book!

Book #67
Elemental by Brigid Kemmerer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I started reading Storm (Elemental #1) before I realized that this existed. I'm glad I read and feel like I have a better understanding of Michael. I just wish there was more to his and Emily's story. Maybe it will come up in storm again.
Wow, just read another page of Storm and got that question answered. Didn't see that coming at all. Wow.
