The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I could not put this book down.  It was filled with so much sorrow, heartbreak and love that I just had to keep reading until it was done.  I surprised myself because I've shied away from books written in verse in the past out of fear of not liking that style but I actually really enjoyed the way this was written.  I love Cade and Amber!

Children of Paranoia by Trevor Shane

I ended up liking this book much more than I expected to.  It's a wild ride, full of action and some romance but it has such a sadness to it.
