Imaginary GirlsImaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I have no idea how to even rate this book since I have no idea what it was about.  I liked it, I just didn't get it.  Can someone explain it to me?  Please?

What Did You Think of The Hunger Games Teaser Trailer?

I loved Gale's voice over and the shot of Katniss shooting the arrow and igniting the Mockingjay pin.  It definitely left me wanting more!!  Can. Not. Wait. For. The. Movie!

Did You Crush On Any Other Cullen Men Before the Movies?

I didn't really crush on any of the other Cullen men (or Wolf Pack) when reading the Twilight Saga.  Once they cast the films though, it was kind of hard not to!!

Look how young Taylor looks!

100 Books in 2011

I challenged myself on www.goodreads.com to read what started out as 75 books this year.  Since I have so much time on my hands as of today, I have read 73 books so I raised my challenge to 100.  But now that I've vamped the blog, I haven't even picked up my book today!

I am currently reading Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Sum.  So far I haven't met a boy to crush on in this one, but 57% done with it, so there's still hope!

Boys I Crush On From YA Paranormal and Dystopian Books

These are just some of the boys from YA paranormal and dystopian books who have captured my heart.  In no particular order:

1. First, there is Edward Cullen from The Twilight Saga  (duh) ~ Vampire ~ Romantic and protective and sexy
2. Then of course there is Jace Wayland from The Mortal Instruments (duh squared) ~ Shadowhunter  ~ Snarky and arrogant and so damn HOT!!
3. Then we have Patch from Hush, Hush ~ Fallen Angel ~ How can you go wrong with a bad boy Fallen Angel who becomes your Guardian Angel?
4. Four form Divergent ~ Strong, Smart, Sensitive and Sexy
5. Gale Hawthorne from The Hunger Games Trilogy ~ I know most people are Team Peeta but I always pictured Peeta as the chubby, baker's son with a limp.  Gale was so much more attractive to me, until he broke my heart in Mockingjay.

6. Nash Hudson from the Soul Screamers Series ~ Male Bean Sidhe ~ Who could not fall head over heels when gazing into his swirling irises?
7. Cassel Sharpe from the Curse Workers Series ~ Curse Worker ~ There is just something about him that I love.  Maybe it's the gloves?
8. Nick Ryves from The Demon's Lexicon Trilogy ~ Demon ~ Mr. Tall, Dark and Homicidal, he's a Demon who is all heart!
9. John from The Abandon Trilogy ~ Death Diety ~ Who would have thought a Death Diety could be so hot?
10. Will Herondale from the Infernal Devices Trilogy ~ Shadowhunter ~ Has the same snark and arrogance that makes Jace Wayland so attractive, only set in a different time period.

So these are just a handful of the book boys who make my heart skip a beat when I see their name on a page!  Who is your favorite book boy crush?  Who do you think I've left out?

Hello, My Name is Kelly, I'm a Bookaholic and I Think Boys in Books are Better

I've always been an avid reader. Ever since I was a kid, I loved to read. My mom tells me I would sit at breakfast and read the cereal box. Reading is one of the few things that relax me. When I read, I am immediately transported to a different world, wherever and whatever that world may be.

Now I've come to the realization that boys in books are better.  I have so many crushes on fictional boys/men it's not even funny.  I know you girls/women all know what I'm talking about.  ;)  So I've decided to dedicate this to all the boys in books that make me want to.......blog!  Enjoy!
