I really didn't know what to expect from this book. I didn't have much interest in a book about kids with cancer. I figured it would just make me cry. Boy, was I wrong (not about the crying part, I did do that). I didn't really have any desire to read it until a friend started posting quotes from it on facebook. Just from that little bit, I was pretty much hooked before I even opened the cover. This book is beautifully written and heartbreakingly sweet. It's one of those that stays with you even after you finish it.
