Book #66

What A Boy Needs (What A Boy Wants, #2)What A Boy Needs by Nyrae Dawn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I think I liked this one better than What a Boy Wants.  I love all four characters though and hope that we see more of them!  I'm looking forward to reading more of Nyrae Dawn's books!

Book #65

The Thing About the TruthThe Thing About the Truth by Lauren Barnholdt

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really liked this book. It's told in alternating POVs which I personally love. It also takes you through the Before and After leading up to the main event through alternating timeframes. And I absolutely adore Isaac!

Book #64

NeedNeed by Carrie Jones

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

(2.5 Stars) I got this book as a Free Friday for my nook and then a friend told me she loved the series. I really wanted to love it too. Unfortunately that was not the case. I liked the storyline for the most part (it seemed to take alot of elements from other books that I've loved), but the writing left a lot to be desired. Half the stuff didn't make any sense (like how a voice "gentles", a face "rivers" into another emotion or snow "shovels" from the sky). The whole ending seemed to be rushed. My biggest issues was why when Nick's car got stuck in the snow, rather than trying to dig out the Mini Cooper or snowshoe their way through the woods, didn't they just take Zara's Subaru that her Betty got her? This annoyed me to no end! I will try and continue with the rest of the series with the hopes that the writing improves as it goes aglong.

Book #63

Pushing the LimitsPushing the Limits by Katie McGarry

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really loved this book. I loved the characters, the story, the agnst, everything. I loved that it's told from alternating POVs. I especially loved Noah Hutchins. I'm a sucker for a bad boy with a good heart. This is another one that has me still thinking about it after I've finished. I so hope we will see more of Noah and Echo in Dare You To.

Book #62

A Want So Wicked (A Need So Beautiful, #2)A Want So Wicked by Suzanne Young
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(3.5 Stars) I have mixed emotions about this book.  I loved A Need So Beautiful and was so touched by that story that I had very high expectations for this one.  I just didn't get that feeling that the I did with the first one.  I wish I had read ANSB again before reading this so that it and the feeling were fresh in my mind and heart.

Book #61

From What I Remember...From What I Remember... by Stacy Kramer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved this book!!  I had no idea what to expect from it and I loved it!  I loved that the chapters were different movie quotes and all of the movie quotes throughout the story.  I loved all of the characters, well, except Lily.  I never did warm up to her but I don't think you are supposed to.  I loved that the story is told from all the different POV's.  I was a little worried at first that it might be a little hard to follow but it actually flowed and worked amazingly.  That is of course until it gets to a really angsty part and switches POV and it's the wee hours of the morning and you have to get up for work in a few hours and really shouldn't stay up to read 2 more chapters to see how it all works out.  I was sorry to see it end.  I wanted to stay in Kylie and Max's world a little bit longer. Oh well, I guess we will always have Ensenada!

Book #60

Before I Wake (Soul Screamers, #6)Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Even though I still don't like Kaylee and Tod as a couple (Am I the only one who is Team Nash?), I liked this book much more than I anticipated.  I'm kind of hoping that in the last book we find out this was all just a bad dream.

Book #59

Peaches (Peaches, #1)Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I got this as a Free Friday book for my nook because it sounded like it might be cute and it really was.  Three completely different girls end up working at a peach orchard for three completely different reasons and find lasting friendships despite their differences.  They also manage to see and bring out the best in each other.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for Murphy, Leeda, Birdie and of course Rex and Enrico!!

Book #58

Team HumanTeam Human by Justine Larbalestier
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

(3.5 Stars) This book took me forever to get into.  I being that I love vampires (whether they sparkle or not) I had a hard time warming up to a protagonist who hated them.  Eventually though, Mel's love of her friends won me over.  Kit may have helped a little too.
